I spend a lot of time on the Machair where I record both aurally and photographically. I also use sketchbooks for painting delicate palette colours, drawing the graphic natural patterns of the landscape. I enjoy collecting leaves, grasses, feathers, fleece and other natural fragments; each piece symbolises a piece of natural history. Everything I collect and gather is used to inspire and inform my creative practice and design process.
